We attend church in a pretty little chapel in a small town called Canyon Lake in the hill country north of San Antonio. It's a long drive to church, but we've learned to enjoy the nice ride through the hill country. Every week on our way to church we catch a glimpse of the lake. A couple of weeks ago we decided to go hang out there a bit. It's always nice to get outside and away from the city.
We had been there one time before about 2 1/2 years ago with our friends the Paynes and the Sparks. That was a good time (Randy and Cathy....come back.....)

Wow! That is gorgeous. I guess it's a fitting place for a church and maybe makes up for the long drive.
So pretty! I picture an old wooden church building up against the scenery that you have to ride your horses too, no parking lots...am I right?
