On Monday we decided to make a day trip to our favorite little german town, Fredericksburg, TX. On our way into town we stopped at an orchard and picked strawberries. I forgot how scrumptious fresh picked strawberries are. It took me back to days of picking berries in my grandparents backyard. We had perfect weather and the orchard to ourselves most of the time. It was a blast.
On our way out of Fredericksburg we stopped at the Wildseed Farm and wandered the meadows of wildflowers.
At the wildflower farm they had a Butterfly Haus. I had never been to something like it before and thought it was pretty exciting with all the many butterflies fluttering around. Eliza loved it and wanted to touch one so bad. Tad got some great shots of the butterflies. The one below was my favorite.

What a great day! Your family is so cute! I heard that your cousin Jenica is getting married to Josh. How exciting!!! She is so darling, the last time I ran into her she totally remembered me from when we were younger and she was so friendly. Do you know when the wedding is?
So fun! We went to Fredricksburg when we were here last year. It's such a cute little town. And my SIL was just telling me about a farm where you could go pick your own strawberries...I wonder if it's the same one?? It is on the way to Fredricksburg?

you can just go and pick strawberries for free? justins grandma has a strawberry patch and they are my favoritist treat of all time. looks like a beautiful place.
