What Kids Really Think

I thought this was really fun to read on Melissa’s blog. There is a list of questions that I asked Preston about me, and the answers are in his own words. It's quite funny to see what kids REALLY think!

1. What is something mom always says to me? Get off the cushion (I did say that a lot today)
2. What makes mom happy? When she’s mad and then she bees back happy
3. What makes mom sad? When I say bad stuff to her
4. How does mom make me laugh? When she does silly faces
5. What was mom like as a child? She was playing around with one of my toys when I was a little baby too.
6. How old is mommy? 17 or I don’t know. What number are you again mommy?
7. How tall is mommy? When she was a kid or a baby she grew big
8. What is mommy's favorite thing to do? To paint and eat food (paint?...eat food, yes)
9. What does mom do when I'm not around? She has to go pick me up (because of course, what would I do without Preston?)
10. If mom becomes famous, what will it be for? She’d be mommy. She’d do anything she can do.
11. What is mom really good at? Driving a car and making food and playing a game
12. What is mom not really good at? making a lot of stuff and when she’s sick she can’t do anything (apparently there is a lot of stuff I can’t make:)
13. What does mom do for her job? When she goes to everybody’s bad houses and when she goes to Target and I stay with daddy (I didn’t know other mommies were bad?)
14. What is mom's favorite food? Cereal and a lot of food (uh, that would be his favorite food)
15. What makes me proud of my mom? When she’s playing a game
16. If mommy were a cartoon character, who would she be? Mickey Mouse
17. What do mommy and I do together? Play games with Eliza and running and going to everybody’s houses and go to preschool
18. How are mommy and I the same? Brown (pointing to his hair…Preston, Eliza, and I have brown hair…Tad has black)
19. How are mommy and I different? when we have no blue on us and we’re not wearing the same color.
20. How do I know mommy loves me? When she gives me hugs.

This is so cute to read!! This totally made me laugh. And years from now, you'll always remember what Preston was thinking at this age. I love it.
