Camping Trip

Last weekend we went camping and had a fabulous time. Nice weather, great company, lots of laughing, campfires, biking, water to play in, new territory to explore. The kids all teamed up together to play the most imaginative games. We had plant gurus, apprentices, shadow forests, etc.

Pedernales Falls. The water was low, so we got to hike around the rocks. It reminded me of Southern Utah...just white rocks instead of red.

I got lazy and didn't hike the camera down to the swimming area where we witnessed a native Puerto Rican tribal naming ceremony. They had flown in their tribe's chief and medicine man from Puerto Rico just for the event. The one part of the trip I didn't have my camera! Lesson learned.
