This afternoon we followed some friends to a Joe McDermott concert. Our friends are groupies of his, and I must say he was pretty entertaining. His music is a ton of fun, and the kids love him. This particular concert was on the grounds of the McNay museum. We melted in the heat but took solace in the fact that "talkly-man-whale" was available at home if needs be.
I don't know why this photo spot was all pink and purple with purple squirrels and birds all over...a little odd...maybe artistic....I guess we were at an art museum

Yes, we had a blast. It was hot, but the company was great. By the way, I'm burning that dress, nice picture. : )

I just can't get over how darling your kids are! It looks like you had fun at the concert! Hot but fun!!
It's getting to be very hot here as well. We've gone swimming twice this week just to try to be outside, but beat the heat. I like the whale pool and the concert looked like fun!
