This was my great $10 buy at Target yesterday. The Last Unicorn was my most favorite movie as a little girl, and it is now on DVD. I don't even know how many times I watched it as a child, but it has been probably about 20 years. Watching it gave me the weirdest sense of nostalgia. For that reason I'll always love it, eventhough it is a pretty strange movie!

Jess,
I called your moms house when you were in town but no one answered... sorry we missed you. Hopefully we'll see you next time you are in town.
I just saw this at Blockbuster. I tried to talk Meg into it, but she went with another classic. All dogs go to heaven!
definite nostalgia. But a crrrrrazy movie.
And yes....you have until May. :) But now I am confident and brave enough to go again with kids, I could be your tour guide.
SO COME VISIT! :)
This is a crazy movie, I agree...but I am with you. I bought it at Target too a couple weeks ago. It's one of those movies that takes us back to being kids and we can't pass it up!
oh man, I was just thinking about this movie the other day and I was trying to describe some scene in the end of the movie with the ocean to mark and I couldn't really remember it and I sounded crazy and I couldn't remember the actual name of the movie! I might need to get it too and prove that I'm not crazy.
I loved that movie as well as a little girl. We found it about a year ago at our local library and it is one of Emily's favorite too, but I agree it is kind of a strange movie.
I totally remember that movie from forever ago! So weird, but I still love it!
