We spent some time at the carnival at the rodeo grounds. While we were standing around sulking over the exorbitant prices for the rides we had some lady come and give us a bunch of her surplus tickets. This happened again later in the evening. We must have looked pretty pathetic. Oh well, we rode for free.
Preston experienced a piece of heaven at the train expo. Him and Eliza had a great time and were anxious to see if Thomas the Train was really real. They got to ride him, but apparently he doesn't talk in real life.
