Guilt Free 2009

Happy New Year!! As I have been reflecting on the many, many things I would like to improve in and change the guilt started to creep in. I am a guilt prone person (as I believe many women are...I was just on a friend's blog who was feeling some guilt and inspired this post). I understand that sometimes guilt is a good thing and pushes us to change and repent. But guilt can be unnecessary and become debilitating. That is why I am going to work towards an 'unhealthy-guilt' free 2009. I am going to do my best to be my best and do what I feel inspired is best for my family. Sometimes I will fall short, but I will pick myself back up and keep trying. No more wasted emotion on guilt.

Speaking of guilt...I was just summoned to jury duty. How cool is that!?! But then I was feeling guilty and disappointed that I had to declare an exemption. There's just no way I can commit to that with 2 little munchkins in tow. But no guilt...there's a time and a season right??

Guilt-free 2009 sounds good to me! And I always have to remember that there is a time & a season. Right now it's time for me to be home with babies. But it's not forever :)

That is a great goal. I'm totally guilt prone too.
