Donuts
I don't know what triggered the obsession, but for about a week my kids were begging me for donuts. They weren't going to let it drop, so we struck a deal and eventually headed out to satisfy the craving.
This Little Girl
I don't know what to do with this one lately. When in a good mood, she's a lot of fun with a spunky little personality. But boy...she has her moods. And a lot of them. How do I deal with this??

We can't seem to get enough of this lately. When in Costco this past week Preston threw up in front of the meat section. Very embarassing. It was kind of my fault. He wanted one of the samples I didn't think he'd like. Reluctantly I let him try it. He wanted to spit it out...I told him he better swallow it. Well, that triggered unpleasant events. I didn't expect him to full on throw-up his entire lunch. I felt so helpless. Of course everyone just stared. There was a sweet lady that came up and gave me some wipes from her purse and fussed over Preston a bit. It helped. We then had to stand guard waiting for some one to come clean it up. I felt so bad that some poor worker had to clean up my son's throw-up.

you are so funny! with eliza, she is gonna power struggle with you till you die. thats what happens, she's a girl. (yay for me and my 2! haha) I am sorry about the puke! Hali threw up 2 times at the zoo last week in front of the bird feeding!! so don't stand there ever! :) ..... man i want some donuts now......
Oh I loooove your kids...and I love donuts
sorry about that little incident at Costco..
I still have my cards hanging on my mirror...all the pretty faces make me happy.
Oh, so sorry about the throw up incident at Costco..that would be pretty tough. I've done the same thing though, made my kids swallow things even if they complained about not liking them. I might think twice about that now. My Emily can be so sweet and fun to be around, but if something upsets her, hold on for dear life because she will fuss and fume forever about it. I think she's a little OCD because she has a hard time letting things go. Anyway, she's been that way since she was a baby though. Hot or cold...my boys are so much easier emotionally.
It must be a girl thing (were we all like that when we were little??) because my sweet Lydia is either totally awesome or totally awful - there really is no in between with her.
I also sympathize with the throw up. For some reason Drake never gets sick at home - just in public - and I somehow always happen to get in the way. He threw up all over me and the bench at Pizza Factory once; all over me at Target once; and all over the drink counter at McDonalds once. These were not my best days of motherhood. :)
Good luck with it all. I know you are a fabulous mother.
Oh man....sorry about the puke. Those pictures were funny. Those kids are so cute!
I have the same problem with taking down my christmas cards. I love them!
Oh, and the donut obsession is very familiar as well. My kids want them every week for FHE treat. Funny..
I love all my Christmas cards and I keep them in a file. At Christmas time each year I look over the past cards and reminisce about memories with family and friends. I especially like the homemade ones and family photos. I don't blame you for keeping them up as long as you can.
